Perfect for all outdoor adventures to the beach, hiking, boating or at the pool. These are the same fine fabrics used by many outdoor and athletic HUMAN clothing companies for rash guards because of their superior sun~blocking SPF properties.
This innovative line of sun protective pet clothing was created in Spring 2011 for my own Italian greyhound who was diagnosed with skin cancer and could not wear chemical protection. I realized this void in the petwear market so I filled it! Now widely copied, K9Sunwear™ was the first of it's kind.
Fabric has lots of 4 way stretch that moves and grooves with your dog. Simple tailoring with a roomy fit, this assured the UPF is not compromised. Fabrics should not be stretched tightly on the dog as this allows sun to penetrate! Metallic/foiled fabrics should be hand washed.
Choose HEMS or CUFFS for the sleeve finish. Sleeves are cut LONG to provide max protection. If you want them shorter, leave me a note in the design changes box.
